Re: Who,s going down?
3 wins and we will need to rely on others, to take it out of others hands really need 4. Think the best we can hope for now is taking it to the last game.

Lose to Wolves and we're down.

Re: Who,s going down?
This is the problem, its all very well thinking other teams are that shit we'll stay up by default, but there's not enough games left to thinks it's a foregone conclusion.

If Villa suddenly go on a run now the Cup is done with, we're bang in trouble, as I think Watford will get out of it.

Signs have been more promising, but we can't be as wasteful with chances as we were on Saturday.

Re: Who,s going down?
We could stay up just winning Villa, Norwich and Watford.

It would require a fair bit of luck.

And would mean no points in almost 2 months, pretty hard to flick that switch,

We need momentum in the next three if nothing else and any points won't hurt.

Still very much in our hands but we need to be better and well as try harder.

Re: Who,s going down?
we probably need 2 points minimum from next 3.....then have massive games at home and if we dont lose away to Norwich we should be ok.

As long as we dont lose to Watford, Norwich and Villa we should be ok providing we pick up some points the way we've been playing in the last 3

Other results were kind to us this weekend, although i think Villa will win tonight as Leicester seem to have hit a wall

Re: Who,s going down?
You think there is a possibility we will go down if we don't pick up a win in the next 3, Manuel?

Stop being a sheep.

Just did a very quick run through the remaining games on here, looking at the remaining fixtures i think Noriwch and Villa are definitely going down, i only had Villa picking up 3 more points this season based on a game by game basis.

Had Bournemouth going down on goal difference level with Brighton.

Maybe some bias creeping in but i had us in 14th on 40 points.

I think the way we are playing at the moment we will beat either Wolves or Spurs.

Re: Who,s going down?
Not a single side in the bottom 8 have won more than 1 game in the last 5. Point being, no one can put a decent run together.

Re: Who,s going down?
What I would say is that we cannot lose all 3 of the next tough 3. Do that then you have massive pressure going into April and 'might' need to win 4 from the last 6, and 1 of them is Man Utd away, so 4 in 5, which we realistically we wouldn't do. Only caveat is if the others keep losing then we might need to win 3 from the last 6 which is more realistic.

Buy yea, ideally need 2-3 points from the next 3.

Re: Who,s going down?
doubt it'll take 40 points to be safe, but what you're saying about the low points needed for a CL spot would indicate that the lower teams will have a higher tally than usual. not that the table seems to be showing that.

Re: Who,s going down?
It won't take 13 points to stay up behave. look at the fixtures of the other teams.I don't blame west ham fans for being negative but 60 points this season will get champions league . Which shows how poor the standard is.

We won't go down . Keep the faith.

Re: Who,s going down?
Wolves is winnable, just like Arsenal was.

We don't have to win all our winnable games.

However, we do need to win some of them...

There’s plenty of games where we’ll get something if we play like yesterday.

Yes, Wolves should be winnable with the Thursday game for them

Re: Who,s going down?

Re: Who,s going down?
Is anyone convinced we are capable of beating the likes of Watford and Villa. Fuck me always make Deeney look like a world beater. Where are the 13 points coming from
